We all know that financial education is important but few of us actually know where to get the knowledge needed to be financially literate. The National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE) is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) foundation dedicated to helping individuals acquire the information and gain the skills necessary to take control of their personal finances.
NEFE has developed this six-unit, web-based curriculum to provide teens with a greater understanding of, and ability to manage, their personal finances. The program teaches goal setting, budgeting, and saving through unique games, simulations, case studies, and interactive exercises.
