Financial Education helps individuals to become more aware of their financial needs and options, as well assisting them in meeting their life long financial goals. Studies confirm that a dramatic number of young adults have received little or no training in even the basics of household economics and finance. These students are at the critical age when they will start to accumulate credit card debt and purchase their first cars. The partnership between KPBS and Mission Fed has been established to provide financial education in the community and empower individuals to make smart financial decisions to build a solid financial foundation.
